Impassioned by performing arts, Martin Frenette started intensive dance training at a very young age, which went on for twelve years, as well as taking a professional and multidisciplinary formation at Montreal’s National Circus School.
Specializing in aerial disciplines, Martin has been performing with many companies in many countries, such as Città di Latina (Italy), Generating Company (England), and Circus Monti (Switzerland).
His signature act is called Double Cloudswing: two ropes, a long one and a short one, tied-up together. "I'm throwing myself in an aerial puzzle, a distorted ballet without any safety wire/rope; I prefer to fly free and be close to the audience..."
Martin also practices vertical rope and aerial silk, as well as pursuing his dance training and taking part in artistic workshops |
