Sasha Lazard is a classically-trained soprano who pioneered an exciting and unique eletronica/trip-hop/world music sound by fusing classical art songs, Russian Folk tunes and opera arias with contemporary beats. Sasha performs all over the world live using percussion, electric cello, keyboards, and sometimes guest DJ's and renowned guest musicians. After first hearing Sasha Lazard's debut record, "The Myth of Red," Suzanne Kenney became ecstatic about the discovery as she had been searching for the right sound for her aerial choreography for over a year!
Sasha has performed for many special luxury brand events including: Bulgari, Maserati, Mikimoto, Armani, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Her latest CD "Siren," was released on Manhattan/eMI Records. In 2007, Ms. Lazard starred in a national PBS special entitled "Heavenly Voices." Sasha's music placements include recent films such as "Princess Mononoke," "Modigliani," "Holy Smoke," "Cowboys and Angels," and "Kettle of Fish."
