Eduardo Dorticos began his physical training in the sport of gymnastics in Santa Clara, Cuba and within a few short years earned his way onto the Cuban National Gymnastics Team. Upon retiring from his sport he became an acrobat in the Cuban National Circus, specializing in High Bar. While there the directors of the world-renowned Tropicana Cabaret in Havana invited Eduardo and his fellow High bar performers to audition a Chinese pole act. They succeeded and spent the next 5 years touring internationally and performing with Tropicana.
In 2000, Eduardo moved to Canada and started work as an independent artist expanding his acts to include straps and hand balancing.
