The Pendulum Flyers are a pre-professional youth troupe comprised of an extraordinarily talented group of middle and high school aged aerialists. Under the direction of Suzanne Kenney, this diverse group, experienced in a variety of dance and gymnastic disciplines, creates magic in the air. Dynamic and athletic, the Pendulum Flyers perform company repertory, help create new works, and participate in local event entertainment.
The Flyers are our core group of students; they train an average of 10 hours per week and volunteer their time in local performances for both non-profit groups like Cascade AIDS (March 2007) and New Avenues for Youth (May 2008), as well as for corporate events at companies like Nike (July 2007) and Macy's (October 2007), to name just a few.
The Flyers also participate in company shows about once a year. This year's company new works DAWN was performed May 3rd and 4th in our training space at the French American International School to sold out audiences. |
